NappStar was founded 16 years ago by two Congolese American sisters, Melissa and Annette. We specialize in locs, loc extensions, and loc styling. Over the past 16 years, we have grown our team to more than 50 members across 5 salons and built a community of over 1 million followers on Instagram.
In addition to our salon growth, we created an e-commerce store where our loc care products can be purchased worldwide. Throughout this journey, Annette has worked with several NBA and NFL players, actors, and actresses, and NappStar hairstyles were featured on Eva Marcille’s show All the Queen’s Men.
